EMDR Adjunct Services:

Deep Healing Without Leaving Your Current Therapist

You love your current talk therapist. You’ve done incredible work together, you have great insight, and you finally feel safe in a therapeutic relationship. You don't want to start over. But... you also feel completely stuck. Maybe you've hit a wall in your healing. You understand why you are exhausted, fatigued, and tired, but your body is still carrying the heavy weight of burnout or past trauma. You are finding that you simply cannot out-intellectualize your physical symptoms, and standard talk therapy isn't quite moving the needle anymore.

This is where Adjunct EMDR Therapy comes in.

Investment & Insurance

Because I believe deeply in making targeted trauma work accessible, I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and United Healthcare.

If you are covered by one of these plans, we can bill your weekly Adjunct EMDR sessions directly to your insurance. Your exact out-of-pocket cost per session will simply depend on your specific insurance coverage, deductible, and copay requirements.

Out-of-Network & Private Pay If you carry a different insurance or prefer not to use your benefits for privacy reasons, the out-of-pocket investment for Adjunct EMDR is $250 per 50-minute session. (I can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement).

What is Adjunct EMDR?

Think of it like seeing a specialist. You wouldn't stop seeing your primary care doctor just because you needed to see a physical therapist for a specific knee injury.

Adjunct EMDR works the same way. You keep your primary talk therapist for your ongoing, day-to-day support. At the same time, you meet with me for short-term, highly targeted EMDR to clear out the specific "stuck points" and trauma that are keeping your nervous system on high alert.

Once we finish the heavy lifting and you are out of pain, our work concludes, and you continue your journey seamlessly with your primary therapist.

Who is this for?

Adjunct EMDR is a beautiful fit for high-achievers and cycle-breakers who are:

  • Currently established in weekly therapy with a primary clinician they trust.

  • Feeling "stuck" on a specific issue, memory, or phobia that talk therapy hasn't fully resolved.

  • Experiencing physical burnout and somatic symptoms (chronic tension, exhaustion, or feeling constantly "on edge").

  • Ready for a profound reset and willing to do deep, concentrated work.

The Consultation: We start with a free 30-minute Zoom call to ensure targeted EMDR is the right clinical fit for your goals.

How the Collaboration Works

Working with two therapists requires clear boundaries to ensure you get the absolute best care. Here is the simple 4-step process:

The Connection: With your permission, I will connect directly with your primary therapist to establish a team approach, ensuring my work supports the foundation you’ve built with them.

The Heavy Lifting: We meet weekly strictly to do the targeted trauma reprocessing. I handle the "stuck points," while your primary therapist continues to hold space for your daily life stressors

Graduation: Adjunct EMDR is short-term and goal-oriented. Once we have cleared the targeted memories or burnout, you return fully to your primary therapist with a lighter, more regulated nervous system.

Ready to get unstuck?

You have already done the intellectual work. Now it is time to let your body release the rest.
